The Absolutes of Leadership by Philip Crosby (Author of Quality Without Tears)

In this, his eleventh book, consultant Philip Crosby, a world-renowned leader, offers his readers a better understanding on leadership. He says that being a leader cannot be taught but learned. Leadership comes in five versions - DESTRUCTOR, PROCRASTINATOR, CARETAKER, PREPARER and ACCOMPLISHER. By examining those character types, the author establishes a framework on how would-be-leaders build a quality leadership skills on their own. In my perspective, while reading this book, I was overwhelmed on how the author described each personality. Practically speaking, this book trains the would-be-leaders in preparing their agenda, strategies and plan for their businesses.
